The Washington State Energy Office pioneered online access to useful energy policy
information online in the early '90's. That agency is long gone, leaving a legacy
of usually interesting, sometimes dated energy information in its wake. We will
be making many of the WSEO online file libraries available here in their original
(somewhat raw) form.

Needless to say, that policy goal is no longer with us, but along the way we were treated to a great power plant siting competition, where the winner was determined on the basis of willingness to mitigate global warming impacts. |
